PSP, story continues...

My very first post was on Sony's attitude towards Europe with their release of PSP. I was as negative as I could be simply because I hate the way Sony continues to give the 'boot' to Europe.

Like thousands of others, I went to the mid-night launch of PSP and it was an absolute blast. I got to meet some really nice guys and even though we stood there in the queue for good 2 hours, time really flew by.

Anyways, my PSP had dead pixels and I was not very pleased with that. Few days later, I went back to HMV and got it exchanged for another PSP. Unfortunately this one had dead pixels & dust under the screen. Not nice. I made the mistake of taking the PSP back to HMV at the end of Sept. and they made a big excuse of Sony not excepting their returned PSPs so I could not get a replacement unit. I was not very pleased about that so I called Sony and was in for a shock. Before the call, I prepared my self for an argument with the customer service in case they refused to acknowledge any 'defects'. As it turned out, the representative was awefully nice and promised to get a replacement over to me next day courier! And sure enough, the next day I got my replacement. Unfortunately, this new one has 7 dead pixels in it! So I called Sony yet again and am to receive a new unit on monday. Cant wait...

I must say, I am very impressed with the support I have received so far. All my problems with Sony are forgotten for the time being! Until monday...
